For those of you that keep signing in and expecting to see something new, I am sorry I am not on the ball!

Today has been a day of good and bad. The main news is that my CT Scan was CLEAR! This has been preying on my mind for the past three weeks. But today I was told that there was no sign of cancer elsewhere. When the doctor told me I just burst into tears. I am sure he thought me completely deranged. Also my bloods are good to go for tomorrow, so that means chemo 2 takes place tomorrow. He has also prescribed a very expensive anti sickness drug for tomorrow, so I am hoping that it works.

I also had my PICC line fitted. Now I wouldn't say it was pleasant, but it has been fitted. The numbing cream was practically ineffective as the pain killing injection hurt like I can't tell. Ian said he has never seen me writhing quite so much, no going so red in the face. But boy did it hurt. Eventually everything was " good to go". So she put the line in, and it went towards my neck! So I had to put my head in a different position and hey presto the line went down past the heart. So I am now in possession of a lovely line out of my arm! Means more trips to the hospital to have it flushed out, but no more injections.

So today is another hurdle cleared. I have had a sleep this afternoon as I was really tired, probably due to the relief.
